About Me

All About Ms. Williamson 

Hello, my name is Ashley Williamson and I am a first grade teacher at Spann Elementary School. I am very excited to begin the 2017-2018 school year and am about to begin my 10th year of teaching. Throughout my teaching experience I have had the privilege to work with a variety of students in multiple grade levels.

I obtained my undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education and Special Education from the University of Delaware. After completing my undergraduate coursework I attended Wilmington University where I graduated with a master’s degree in Reading and ESL (English as a second language). Even though I have been teaching for nine years I am always looking to expand my knowledge and learn new things.

I am looking forward to teaching your child this year and building a relationship with you and your child. My goal this school year is to lead every student to achieve his/her optimum performance level through rigor, and relevance. I will strive to meet the needs of each student and I endeavor to be a "World Class" educator for your child. 

I have created this website to keep families, students, and other educators informed of some of the activities that go on in our classroom. I hope that you find this web page useful and please let me know if there is anything you want added! I am looking forward to teaching your child this year and building a relationship with you and your child.
