Our Room

I will add more pictures of our classroom as the beginning of the school year approaches. Here is a sneak preview!

 This is the front of our classroom where most of our class instruction will take place. 

 This is the right side of our classroom where we will have small group time. There are also 5 computers for students to complete their Waterford activities on. Our class objectives will be posted on the white board each day and our sight words will be posted on the word wall.

This is the view of the classroom when you walk in through the door. Everything is open so that kids have access to their supplies and to all areas of the room. 

In the back of the classroom is our reading area and where students will hang their bookbags and store their textbooks.

This is the front entrence of the classroom. You will notice that in our class students will use tables to work at instead of traditional desks. 

This is another view of the back of our classroom. It lets you see a closer look at some of the flexible seating options I have available for students to use. 

This is the back of the classroom. It is where students will keep their fluency books and where our classroom library is kept. In this picture there is a small reading center for students to sit and read.
