- Tuesday: We will have a Veterans Day ceremony at 12:00 pm. Wear red, white, or blue!
- Wednesday: Will be a club and early release day, Our club this week is yoga!
- Thursday: Begin our unit on Time and library checkout.
- Friday: Brain Boosters with Mrs. Snell.
Class Documents
Here are some documents you may need this week I sent home a paper copy of each on Monday however sometimes they don't make it home. This week I have added a digital copy of our reading log, class newsletter, and a supply letter for holidays around the world unit.
What We Are Learning
Reading: Inferencing through illustrations and through reading text. Test on Friday.
Math: Mentally adding and subtracting 10. We begin our unit on time Thursday.
Social Studies: Government and roles of government officials.
Phonics: Phonemes er, or, oa, sh, oo, ar, and ou. There are no extra credit words this week. Test on Friday: Writing opinion pieces.
Spelling
Spelling this week will focus on the phonemes er, or, oa, sh, oo, ar, and ou.
Quick Reminders
- If you have not returned in your child's field trip money and permission form you must do it by the end of the week.
- Our field trip is next week November 20th.
- Early release day is November 12th.
