Peek at the Week

Our school time for December is halfway over! Very hard to believe that the holidays are getting so near. You may have heard from your child but our class has an elf on the shelf! We named our elf Holly and she has been a busy little elf. I will be adding pictures of her classroom escapades on my blog each week. We will be continuing to work, study, and learn throughout the coming weeks. Here is a peek at our week!

Monday: Math Quiz
Tuesday: Brain Boosters with Mrs. Snell, Ice Cream party (earned for class behavior)
Wednesday: Early Release Day and Club Day
Thursday: Library book checkout
Friday: Spelling and reading test today.

Important Dates and Things to Keep in Mind

  1. iPad day for reaching reading goals: 12/18.
  2. Guidance Lesson with Mrs. Tanner 12/15.
  3. Library lesson/checkout 12/18
  4. Holiday Party is on 12/19. Students can come to school in pajamas, with a blanket, and with a stuffed animal. If you want to send something in for the holiday party let me know, please no peanut products. We do need small bottles of water for the day. We have enough napkins and cups from our Thanksgiving celebration but we do still need plates. It is going to be a snack at 10:00 am.

Elf Antics and Escapades

Holly played tic-tac-toe with two of our reading buddies; a lion and a polar bear. On another day she brought elf tickets and prizes for elf ticket winners each week. She also brought us some candy that she tried to eat!

On another day Holly hung from a candy cane on our class door. She also brought us each a mini candy cane.

Holly also hid in the classroom disguised as Spiderman! We found her hanging from our overhead projector!

Class Documents

Here are some of the documents you may need to access this week. A Paper copy was sent home of each but a digital copy is posted online for your convenience.
